Mum’s Garden Full Of Birdsong
There’s a tall tree in mum’s garden
That needs chopping
A Blackthorn
It and the Holly beside it
Spreading up up way beyond their bound
Blocking the light from the neighbours
Worrying my mum that someone may complain
Curly and I could not reach over far enough
That time we cut the hedge
But there’s a Blackbird that sings from that tree
He’s singing now
A Mistle Thrush, countless Tits
And the Blackbird and his mate
All in there
The Blackbird is singing
‘Yeooww woo
But isn’t it grand’
It is too
Much more than nice Jim. I immediately side with the birds and think ‘Well neighbours, you will have to wait until the blackbird has finished.’
Ir is grand! I love it!
Thanks Susie!
In rare form, I’m not going to say anything, but just sit and enjoy the view of this one.
Agreed Guap
Birds and trees trump neighbors. My back yard is full of Cardinals this winter and I feed them sunflower seeds. It is a joy to see spots of brilliant red hopping and swooping about on the bare tree limbs.
A lovely vision Gale
It is grand! Leave the tree and forget about the neighbours.
Agreed Michelle!
I like that I can gain some culture from this blog. Even without a sausage pic.
We are all things to all people!
I’m a big fan of countless tits.. Thank you.
Here to serve!
Very nice surprise; a little culture. I like this side of you very much.
Don’t thank me thank my friend!
That’s who I was speaking to. Sorry I wasn’t clear.
